These images were made with a free 3D raytracing programme called PovRay, downloadable from www.povray.org
In the real world I have always liked making things. PovRay provided the opportunity to do similar construction in the
computer’s virtual world. Basic 3D geometic shapes can be made, added to, subtracted from, stretched, cut,
rearranged, moved, and painted to produce an unusual degree of photo-realism.
Some of the following images are “ freehand ” and some have been modelled on three-view drawings
from magazines, for more accurate proportions.
